Sizing, on-site service & logos

  • How do I know which size to order?

Each Tranemo Workwear and Lyngsoe Rainwear product page includes a direct link to the official size chart. The best way to find your size is to measure your chest, waist and inside leg over your base layer. Not sure between two sizes, or about the fit of flame-resistant clothing? Get in touch for personal sizing advice.

  • Can you visit our business to provide advice and run a fitting session for our team?

Yes, absolutely! As a specialist B2B partner (powered by Pro-Tex Workwear, with over 30 years of experience), we offer more than just online sales. We’d be happy to visit your business free of charge for:

    • Expert product and standards advice: We’ll help you find flame-resistant, antistatic or high-visibility clothing that meets the safety requirements and working conditions of your industry.
    • Complete fitting sessions: We’ll bring a full range of samples to your workplace, so all your employees can be fitted with the right size and a comfortable fit.
    • Requests for swatches and samples: Want to feel and test the fabrics and quality first? We’ll bring the samples along for you.

Simply request an advice appointment and fitting session through our customer service or contact form, and we’ll schedule an appointment right away!

  • Can you add our company logo to the clothing?

Yes, we can add your company logo to all clothing (printing or embroidery) for orders of at least 10 items. For flame-resistant and protective clothing, we only use flame-resistant emblems to ensure the clothing’s safety ratings remain 100% intact. Contact us for a tailored quote.

Products, flame-resistant clothing & care

  • Are all items in the online store flame-resistant and antistatic?

Most of our Tranemo range consists of specialist flame-resistant, antistatic and arc flash protective workwear (including garments compliant with EN ISO 11612, EN 1149 and IEC 61482-2). The exact safety standards are clearly listed for each product. Looking for specific rainwear or high-visibility clothing? Take a look at our Lyngsoe Rainwear range too.

  • What is the difference between inherently flame-resistant and treated workwear?

With inherently flame-resistant workwear (such as Tranemo clothing), the protection is built into the molecular structure of the fibre itself. This protection cannot be washed out and does not wear off. Treated workwear is made from a regular fabric (such as cotton) that has been chemically treated. Its protective properties can diminish over time with intensive use and frequent (incorrect) washing.

  • How do I wash and care for technical workwear to maintain its protective properties?

Always follow the care label on the garment. Technical workwear should usually be washed at 60°C with a mild detergent. Never use fabric softener or bleach, as these can immediately damage the protective coatings and flame-resistant properties. It’s best to wash garments with reflective strips inside out to prevent wear to the reflective material.

Returns & service

  • How do I return or exchange workwear if the size isn’t right?

Unbranded workwear can be registered for return or exchange within 14 days of receipt, provided it is unworn, undamaged and in its original packaging.

How do I register a return?
